TAYY AL-MAKÂN OF THE PHYSICAL BODY
TAYY AL-MAKÂN OF THE PHYSICAL BODY
The physical body does not make its own tayy al-makân, it is always a means. The soul has an electron revolution rate half that of our physical body, so it is captive within our physical body. Imagine a moment when the spirit comes to and settles on the physical body. The spirit's electron revolution rate increases to twice that of the physical body. This means that the physical body has become a captive within the spirit. The physical body becomes invisible because the spirit commands it. In this way, with the spirit acting as a veil over the physical body, the physical body can move at infinite speed.
When the destination is reached, the physical body is free and can move as it wishes the moment the spirit relinquishes control. But when returning to its own realm, the spirit comes back over the physical body with twice the number of revolutions and completely covers it. This is absolutely necessary for the return. When it returns to its belonging place, the spirit leaves the physical body again and takes its place above the person's head. The physical body regains its normal standards as if it was waking up from a sleep.
Up to today, we see that the tayy al-makân of physical body has been experienced by Prophet Idris (PBUH), Prophet Jesus (PBUH), and our Master, the Sultan of Nabîs, Muhammad (PBUH). Both Prophet Idris and Prophet Jesus exist in the presence of Allah with their physical bodies. And regarding Prophet Jesus’s return, Allah Almighty has given a definite assurance. However, concerning what will happen to Prophet Idris, there is no indication in the Qur’ân.
Maryam-56: And mention in the Book IdrĂŽs (Enoch). Surely, he was a loyal Prophet
Maryam-57: and We raised him to a High Place (to paradise).
Prophet Idris (PBUH) said to Allah Almighty: “I certainly want to see your Paradise.” Allah Almighty took him to His Paradise. Prophet Idris (PBUH) expressed that he did not want to leave Paradise. Allah Almighty accepted this request of Prophet Idris (PBUH)and allowed him to remain in Paradise.
Let's look together at the Ascension of Prophet Jesus (PBUH). Allah Almighty states that the face of the 12th disciple resembled the face of Jesus (PBUH) and that He raised Jesus (PBUH) to His presence.
An-Nisa-157 And for their saying: âSurely we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah", (is a tremendous calumny). And they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but he (the man who was killed) appeared to them like him (Maryâs son Jesus, the messiah) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except a conjecture; and they did (could) not kill him for sure.
An-Nisa-158: Nay! Allah raised him up to Himself and Allah is Majestic, All-Wise (the Owner of Judgment and Wisdom).
The physical body of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) being taken up to Allah's presence is also a physical body tayy al-makân.
Our Prophet (PBUH) ascended to Allah's presence through physical ascension (Mi'raj). The spirits of all three prophets veiled over their physical bodies, and they ascended to the heavens of Allah within those standards. And two of them stayed there. Only Our Prophet (PBUH) experienced a unique event and he returned.
Allah Almighty did not take our Prophet (PBUH) directly to His Presence so that future generations and the people of Mecca would have a lesson. First, He brought our Prophet (PBUH) to a caravan at some distance. After our Prophet (PBUH) spoke with the caravan owners for a minute or two, He was brought to a second caravan, also at a distant location, within a few minutes. Afterwards, Allah Almighty brought Him to Masjid al-Aqsa. After performing the tawaf (circumambulation) of Masjid al-Aqsa, He ascended from there to the Presence of Allah.
Al-Isra-1: Glory be to Him Who made go on a night His servant from Al- MasjidâalâHarâm (the Sacred Mosque) to AlâMasjid-alâAqsâ whose surroundings We have blessed, that We might show him of Our Verses. Surely, He is All-Hearing, AllâSeeing.
When our Prophet (PBUH) ascended to the Heavens via Miraj, he saw Allah Almighty with the eyes of his spirit. Previously, our Prophet (PBUH) had seen Allah Almighty several times with the sense of fuad in the heart of his soul. Based on this reason, Allah Almighty decreed, "He did not deny what the hearts see."
An-Najm-11: The consciousness of the heart (seeing with the eye of the soul: fuâd) did not deny what he saw (with the eyes of his spirit).
