What Does a Spiritual Guide Mean? Is He an Intermediary Between Us and Allah?

A viewer from social media asks, "Esteemed teacher, what does spiritual guide mean? Does it mean to have someone as an intermediary?" What would you say to this follower of ours? A spiritual guide is one who establishes Allah's seven stages and four surreners, lives by Allah's holy books, whom Allah wants us to learn and live our religion from, whom he has appointed for us, and who has reached the level of guidance. He is a scholar who possesses wisdom. A spiritual guide is a man of wisdom. He is one who submits to Allah with the four surreners. A spiritual guide is one who responds to evil with good. He is one who possesses infinite joy on earth and experiences the highest level of happiness. It is not about having an intermediary. Allah Almighty says to adopt the morality of Allah and to have the morality of the Quran, one needs a spiritual guide who has adopted the morality of the Quran and the morality of Allah. Without that role model, it is not possible for us to embody the morality of Allah and the morality of the Quran. Therefore, after sincerely wishing to reach Allah from our hearts, we must ask Allah by performing the special prayer of need to help us find the guide he has appointed for us. The one who embodies the morality of the Quran and reflects the morality of Allah. We always used to say at the first stage, it is either faith or rebellion. Who is the possessor of faith? And who is the possessor of rebellion? When the invitation reaches them, the one who accepts it is the possessor of faith and the one who rejects it is the possessor of rebellion. It is either morality or destruction. Either pledging allegiance to a spiritual guide or perishing by refusing to do so. It is either morality or destruction. For the spiritual guide is the one who embodies the morality of Allah and the morality of the Quran. To pledge allegiance to the spiritual guide leads us to the morality of the Quran. Rebellion leads us to destruction.
