THE FORMULA OF HAPPINESS IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES: 7 STAGES AND 4 SURRENDERS

Pay careful attention to Allah’s goals. Allah wants to bring you to both the bliss of Paradise and the happiness of this world. For this reason, He has prescribed His obligations (farâd). Allah has placed the invitation, prescription, and guarantee of happiness consisting of the 7 stages and 4 surrenders into all the holy scriptures.

1st Stage:  Wishing to reach Allah is the gateway to happiness.

2nd Stage: The main factor that makes you unhappy is the vices within your soul, which Satan can also influence. When you pledge allegiance to the religious guide (murshid)  shown to you by Allah, the process cleansing of the soul (tazkiyat an‑nafs) begins and your happiness comes into being. 

3rd Stage: Your spirit surrenders to Allah, the heart of your soul becomes enlightened by 51%, and your happiness reaches 51%.

4th Stage: When the physical body is surrendered to Allah, the level of happiness reaches 81%.

5th Stage: With the surrender of the soul, the level of happiness reaches 100%.

6th Stage: At the post of Ikhlâṣ (Sincerity), your soul becomes pure and unmixed. Through the beauties shown to the eye of your heart, you become aware, one by one, of Allah’s secrets and begin to live happiness at an entirely different level.

7th Stage: The peak of happiness is the point at which you surrender your will to Allah.

These seven stages also lead you to the seven levels of Paradise.

So, what does Satan want? Satan desires that people remain unhappy in this world and that they go to Hell together with him in the Hereafter. For this purpose, he tries to deceive people through various promises. The Holy Qur’an refers to these promises as “istidrâj” — gradually deceiving a person by drawing them step by step into a trap.

Satan uses occult knowledge as a means to reach his goal.
