THE HOLY QURAN

it's an invitation to happiness

it's a recipe for happiness

it's a guarantee of happiness

Allah wants only one thing from us; to be happy. All sacred books are invitations to happiness. But the Qur'ân, as the last sacred Sharia book (divine law), is not only an invitation; it is also a guide, a prescription for happiness. Happiness guides show us how to reach happiness. But the Holy Qur'an also guarantees our happiness.

So, let's take a tour of the Holy Qur'an together. Is the Holy Qur'an really an invitation to happiness, is it a prescription for happiness, is it really a guarantee of happiness? Let's live together.

We're going on a trip. A trip to the Holy Qur'an...

What is this thing they call "happiness"? DEFINITION OF HAPPINESS IN THE QUR'AN

Many people think of temporary pleasures when they think of happiness. You experience temporary pleasures along with sorrows and griefs. Pleasures disappear in short periods of time. After a while they turn into desire again. But satisfaction is a fleeting satisfaction. This is not called happiness. This is where the Qur'an's definition of happiness comes to the fore.

Happiness is a state of peace and tranquillity.

It is a state of complete harmony. It represents an environment where quarrels are over.  IT IS A STATE OF UNINTERRUPTED PEACE AND TRANQUILLITY in the inner world of the person (between the spirit and the soul),

• in the outer world (inrelations with others), • in relations with Allah.

In the beginning, there is a fight in the inner world, in the outer world, in the relations with Allah. If there is strife, there is unhappiness.
