Sincere (Pure) Repentance IN PRESENCE OF GOD
A day will come when the voice within a person continuously repeats the name of God with each heartbeat. This person, who has attained constant remembrance, gathers all virtues within his being. His soul is purified, fulfilling all of Lord’s commands and committing none of His prohibitions. At the dawn, in a sincere moment, he is invited by God Almighty to the ceremony of Sincere (Pure) Repentance.
Sincere (Pure) Repentance in God’s presence is a repentance that is incorruptible. (i.e., irreversible, no more going back to sin ever again). Because the heart of the servant who possesses sincerity has become pure, completely free from all vices. The devil has no power left to influence that person. Neither can he prevent them from obeying God’s commands nor can he compel them to commit acts that God has prohibited.
“You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.” (Romans 6:18-Holy Bible)
“(Satan said) ‘My Lord, because You have led me astray, I will surely make (evil) deeds attractive to them on earth, and I will surely lead them all astray, except for among them Your chosen servants.’” (Al-Hijr-39, 40- Holy Quran)
For a person being righteous means that their soul has been purified and reformed.
The Sincere (Pure) Repentance is an obligatory command for everybody. For all centuries, all the saints of God that attained level of righteousness had repented to Him in His presence (with Sincere Repentance)
“O you who have believed (those who wish to reach God)! Repent to God with a sincere repentance! Perhaps your Lord will cover your sins and admit you into gardens under which rivers flow. On the Day when God will not disgrace the prophets and those who believe with him. Their light will race before them and on their right. They will say, ‘Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent.’” (At-Tahrîm 8-Holy Quran.)
The person who repents to God with sincere repentance is in the state of righteousness. The state of righteousness is:
1. In the first stage; all the sins committed by the person since reaching their spiritual guide are concealed.
2. In the second stage; the light (halo) of righteousness is granted.
3. In the third stage; sins are converted into deeds.
4. In the fourth stage; the will is surrendered to God.
5. In the fifth stage; God appoints and authorizes them for guidance (Spiritual Guides).
6. In the sixth stage; the exaltation of the will is realized (Messengers of Nations).
7. In the seventh stage; they receive consent of absolute control. (Imam of the era)
Our Lord states in Tahrîm-8: “On the Day of Judgment, God will not sadden the prophets and those who are with Him.” The prophets will be with the possessors of the post of righteousness on that day. This person is now the one who possesses two wings… one wing on heaven and one wing on this world; the owner of the highest level of happiness in both.
