“Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.”

PROVERBS 16:32-HOLY BIBLE

Take action: Be patient to eliminate the rise of anger. Remove others from the equation. They are not your enemies. Your only enemy is Satan. When you face him, you will see that you can defeat him. Because God is with you. He is ready to help you instantly at every moment. Just ask for His help and make, applying His guidance, a principle in your life Seek the potential for friendship in the person before you, try to uncover that magnificent treasure that exist in every human being. How can you encourage them to adopt a behavior that brings happiness to those around them? In other words, how can you be on their side? This is where the key is.

Factors that elevate anger

When someone does wrong to you, the vice of anger immediately kicks in to teach them their place. Here’s what you must be mindful of: a vice your soul has certainly been provoked, and it is on this basis that you become angry. For example, the vices of pride and arrogance interpret the action as an insult to you. You can’t tolerate it, and anger rises within you.

Your soul strongly urges you to respond with even more insults, or at least to hit them a punch, cause them harm, or take revenge to erase the impact of their insult on you. It is Satan who creates this desire within your soul. He speaks His words to you by mimicking your inner voice and disguising himself as your own thoughts.

Carefully observe the state of the person in front of you. They are angry and they have insulted you, waiting for you to insult them back, so they can retaliate with an even greater insult. What will allow them to attack you back is your reaction and retaliation with the same level of anger. If you do this, you will have created the ground for the conflict to escalate into new dimensions.

Thus, anger progressively increases. Rage comes into play. Rage is an intense, overflowing form of anger that drives a person toward actions that can harm the other party. Both parties may escalate to the point of injuring or even killing each other. The result: one ends up in the grave, the other ends up in prison...

After all this anger, Satan will say to you: "Good for you. They insulted you, and you gave them a taste of their own medicine. Just like that, you’ll always take your revenge..” But as soon as the words of our Lord come into play, you will feel a sense of unrest and regret in your heart. And that is the lasting feeling within you. First, Satan comes and launches an attack on your soul, but then Lord Almighty says the last word to you through your spirit.
