FOREWORD

For centuries, conflicts and wars have been waged in the name of religion across the world. However, contrary to what people assume, there are no multiple religions. There is only one religion.

In another hadith, our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), said: “Every prophet before me was given a miracle through which people were guided. The miracle given to me is the Qur'an which is a form of divine speech.” (S: Bukhari, Virtues of the Qur'an 1, Holding Fast to the Qur'an 1; Muslim, Book of Faith 239, 152)

When the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) learned that a man from the Ansar (early Muslims of Medina) was disputing with a Jew about which prophet was superior, he said: “Do not give superiority to any of Allah’s prophets over one another.” (Bukhari, Book of Prophets, 35; Muslim, Book of Virtues, 159)

Al-Baqarah-136 Say: “We believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac and Jacob, and their grandchildren, and what has been given to Moses and Jesus, and what has been given to the (other) prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Him we are surrendered.”

Allah Almighty has made no distinction among His prophets.

Ash-Shura-13: In the religion, what He (Allah) had enjoined upon Noah (the Law (the Shari’a)), He had enjoined, by saying: ”Maintain the Religion and in it (in religion, in faith) do not divide into groups," upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus, and by revealing to you, made it a “Law (Shari’a) for you too. What you have called them upon for (to wish to reach Allah before death) had been very difficult for the disbelievers (mushriqun). Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and he will deliver to Himself (their spirits before death of) those who turns to Allah (yuneeb ones).

Allah Almighty clearly states in Surah Ash-Shura, verse 13, that He had given the same Divine Law (Shariah) to all of His prophets.

However most people do not know.

Ar-Rum-30: Then set yourself (your physical body), turning your face upright to the true Religion, as a Hanif. It is the Hanif nature that in which Allah has created all mankind in. There is no altering in Allah’s creation that is the everlasting Religion (that will last from beginning to end). However most people do not know.

Prophet Noah, Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses, Prophet Jesus, and our Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) were all Hanif, and they preached only the Hanif religion in the era in which they lived.

3- Surrender

Al-Hajj-78 And strive in Allah's cause as you ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you and has not laid upon you any hardship in the Religion, which is the religion of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims (surrenders to Allah) before, so that in it (in the Qur’ân), that the Messenger may be a witness to you, and you may be bearers of witnesses to people. Therefore, keep up the Prayer and pay alms, hold fast to Allah (disappear in Allah). He is your Friend. How excellent Friend, how excellent Helper.

2. Tawhid: A single community formed by those who wish to reach and surrender to Allah.

There are three fundamental principles of the Hanif religion:

“In this world and the Hereafter, I am the closest of all people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book of Prophets, 48)

“I am the supplication of my forefather Abraham, the glad tidings of my brother Jesus, and the vision of my mother Amina.” (Musnad Ahmad, 4/127, 128; 5/262; Al-Hakim, Al-Mustadrak, 2/656)

"Every prophet had a close friend among other prophets. My close friend is my forefather, Abraham, whom my Lord took as a friend..." (Tirmidhi, Tafsir al-Qur'an, 3)

Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said the following in this regard:

All prophets, in the eras they lived, practiced the same religion together with those who followed them.

Az-Zumar-54: And turn to your Lord (wish your spirit to reach Allah while you are alive)! And surrender to Him (Allah) (surrender your spirit, your physical body, your soul and your free will to Allah) before the torment comes upon you, then (otherwise) you will not be helped.

In the Holy Qur'an, Allah Almighty commands all humanity to surrender to Him.

The word Islam originates from the triliteral Arabic root s-l-m, which in its linguistic usage, means “surrender.” Similarly, the word Hanif in Hebrew also carries the meaning of “surrender.”

Allah Almighty has not brought into existence any religion in the universe other than the Hanif religion. There is only one religion: the Hanif religion of our father Abraham, known in Arabic as the religion of Islam.

The religion of Islam is the Hanif religion of our father Abraham.

1- Wahdat (Unity): To believe in one Allah.

Al-Hajj-67 For every nation We appointed a Law (single Sharia). They (should) follow that Law (Sharia). Therefore, they should not dispute with you about My command. You invite to your Lord. Most surely you are indeed on a mustaqim Hidayah (guidance that is directed towards Allah).
