SPECIAL PRAYER OF NEED (SALATUL HAJAT)

Anyone who has a material or spiritual need from Allah, or who seeks to reach their Religious Guide (Spiritual Guide-Murshid), can perform the special prayer of need (salatul hajat). This prayer is performed on Thursday nights (the night connecting Thursday to Friday) or on holy nights. If that is not possible, it may be performed on any other night. First, one should perform a full ablution. After intending to perform the special prayer of need (salatul hajat), the following verses are recited:

The 1st Rakat: Subhanaka + Al-Fatiha + 3 Ayat al-Kursi

The 2nd Rakat: Al-Fatiha + Al-Ikhlas + Al-Falaq + An-Nas.

At the end of the 2nd Rakat (While sitting): Attahiyyatu

The 3rd Rakat: Al-Fatiha + Al-Ikhlas + Al-Falaq + An-Nas.

The 4th Rakat: Al-Fatiha + Al-Ikhlas + Al-Falaq + An-Nas.

At the end of the 4th Rakat (While sitting): Attahiyyatu + Allahumma salli + Allahumma Barik + Rabbena

After completing the prayer (salaat), the person asks Allah either for a Religious Guide (Spiritual Guide-Murshid) or for whatever they need. The person should lie down without speaking. When lying down, the qibla should be on the right side of the bed, and the person should lie on their right side, with the front of their body facing the qibla. After lying down, they should recite Âyat al-Kursî three times and ask Allah for a material or spiritual need to be fulfilled or to find his or her assigned Religious Guide (Spiritual Guide-Murshid). Then, silent dhikr (repeating the name of Allah with your heart without moving your tongue) is performed. Since the person is lying on their side, their right ear will rest on the pillow. The head is moved slightly from side to side so that the heartbeat (due to the pressure in the ear) can be clearly heard. With each double beat of the heart, the name of Allah is silently repeated inwardly: “Allah, Allah”. If there is no dream about the request on the first night of the special prayer of need (salatul hajat), one should continue to perform it on Thursday nights (the night connecting Thursday to Friday) until the goal is reached. The doors of happiness are wide open for all people. Only Allah knows the truth, and the special prayer of need (salatul hajat) is one of the clearest and most beautiful formulas that Allah has guaranteed for us to reach goodness through turning to Him.

We invite you to implement the prescription that will open the door to happiness and learn the ways to achieve uninterrupted happiness.
